Reverse Migration of Older generation
People in the age group of 60's to 70's have done quite a lot for the family and society etc. But I feel that they have an opportunity to do some thing more. Why not move back to the small towns in your district. You are afraid that things have not changed in those places. It is not like that any more. Communication facility, Medical facility, transportation facility all have changed. Why not move and live at better comfort of lesser pollution, cheaper cost of living. What difference does it make to live in a big city alone and live in small town alone. The people in small towns are more helpful than the big ones. We are trying to provide all details about each small town which will help get all the information. Let us do what Amartya Sen talks about development of Rural Economy and reduce the migration to big cities. We shall provide all the details starting with Tenkasi in Tiruneveli district with all details. This will be followed by rest of the towns in Tirunelveli District and other districts in TN. We are not going to restrict this to TN alone and would start information about rest of the country.

In fact the migration should start at the other end. The younger generation should realise that it is not possible for the earth to sustain the idiotic consumerism of the west which is being mindlessly copied by countries like India. People should start living a simple contented holistic life and there is no better place to do it rather than have your own small farm and living on and off it..What do you think?
